This was my process:

1) Wash with eagle one car wash

2) Clay with meguairs clay

3) Wash again

4) DACP with Yellow cutting pad

5) #9 Swirl Remover with white polishing pad

6) Meguiars NXT

Overall I'm pretty happy, but I don't really like the mirror look. I'm probally gonna try and get some #16 to top it with for that "just dipped look".

The PC work awsome!! I got rid of swirls and scratches that I could only hide with fillers by hand. The DACP took me a very long time because the paint was in pretty bad condition in terms of swirls/scratches.

The DACP took a long time. Some panles I had to do it a couple times. On avg, I would work it in for 5 - 8 minutes in a 2 foot X 2 foot section.

I'm not a Vegan by the way!

one more pic, after the DACP X 2 on this panel

Black trucks suck! I picked up an 02 dakota a few months back and the paint was BAD! I spent probably 15 hours on it, it was my first time so I was most likely much slower than I should have been. Last weekend I did my bosses supercab silverado(black, of course) and it took me a good 7 hours and only got I'd say 80% of the imperfections out. Trucks take FOREVER!

Awesome job though. I think I need to pick up a more aggressive polish (currently using 1Z PP w/ yellow pads) to get the same results as you. I may order some DACP with my next order.

You will be impressed by the DACP. It works great and breaks down pretty fast. This was my 1st time using it and I had no problems. The only other abrasive I had tried was Scratch X by hand and it didn't do sh1t. DACP is defiently a beginners abrasive.
