great work. Clay every 6 months is a little much in my opinion for 7k a year but if t works for you that is all that matters.

Thanks. I hardly have any build up ....but I still clay about every 6 mos to make sure the finish is completely smooth and free of any contaminants.

You have me interested in OPP now, though. I like the matte look on your dash and your interior in general looks very nice (IMHO).

I have been thinking about running a mild polish like Optimum Poli-seal, but I'm reluctant to do anything until I get some swirls or marring on the finish.

What would you recommend for a mild polish for use with a D/A that is very forgiving and won't introduce marks on my finish?

have not personally tried the 3M, Meg's, or PB; but, have seen great results from others on this forum! :hifive:

I have been using OPP for about 8 mos now and still really like it. I use it as a protectant and also a light cleaner for dust and shoe prints on the interior. I also use it as a cleaner and conditioner for the plastic covers in my engine compartment.

That is Gorgeous :goodjob

Among the thousands of OCD afflicted members here, I would rate you in the top 10. That looks PERFECT. And as its a DD and carries a 4 year old, I have to salute you sir.:usa

I really love seeing someone who is just an enthusiast keeping their car in this condition. Man I wish I had customers that were that dedicated.

Really awesome job, and congrats on no swirls in the car in a year. That is really impressive.

If you had that, you wouldn't have customers. LOL... They'd all be detailing themselves.

That car looks awesome. Lexus paint is very nice.

Nice work, and beautiful car! I'm also a big fan of Optimum products for use on my (very soft) black Acura paint. When you're ready, I'd highly recommend trying Poli Seal.
