Hi everyone. The missus drives this one daily.

1999 Tahoe.

167,930 miles on the clock.

It's probably been repainted as it is in very nice condition.

We have had it for about four years.

It just needed a little cleaning so...

Exterior got -

Wash with QEW.

Dry with WW towel.

Polish left side with Poorboys SSR1 on a Green Propel P2 pad with the PC.

Polish remaining vehicle with same except using my new Hitachi rotary as I need the practice.

50/50 IPA wipedown.

Zaino Z2 (x1, not ZFX'ed) removed with Z6.

Interior got -

Triple 7 APC (10:1) wipedown on plastic trim and leather seats using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser as required.

Vac.

Plastic trim got 303.

Leather seats got Poorboys Leather Stuff.

A touch of Fabreeze in the aft cargo section.

The glass got Stoner Invisible Glass in the pump.

The tires got Meguiars High Endurance gel.

Wheel wells got "No Touch".

Before.

Nice work Jim.

Looks like you could get some practice by wetsanding the headlights. I'll see if I can get some paper from Scott this w/e.

Thanks Bryan.

I *think* the headlights are glass. I've not really paid too much attention to them.

Let me know. If they are we can try our hand at it.

The lights are plastic. After you wetsand you will see a nice change in light output.Looks nice and I like the painted vent visors.

Nice work Jim, love that close up of the flake, nice and pure.

Hit those headlights with some rubbing compound and a harsh pad with a PC and if that doesn't do the trick then resort the the sandpaper.....either way you'll have to buff it.:waxing:

Looks good, Jim. My old Yukon was the exact same color (I know, the new one is very similar as well) and I know mine never looked half that good.

The lenses are plastic and can be easily cleaned up with some unigrit. I will send some home with Bryan for you.

Thanks Josh.

The finished product was not as "satisfying" as the black Tahoe I did just previous to this one. Of course it was four times the work to.:chuckle:

Thanks for the tips on the headlights. I never really paid too much attention to them.
