I detailed this for a friend who just bought this accord from the dealer, and normally when we think of dealership cars the first thing that comes to mind is the horrible paint condition the car is gonna be in, well this one was in very decent condition. Due to time constraints i wasnt able to take out the holograms that the so called "detailer" had previously put on there, but was able to wash and wax it

here are some before pics

Ah yes, the super high reflective wet S100 look! :)

Looks terrific for a simple wash and wax. You might want to tell your friend though, that rubbing dusty paint causes scuffing and marring.

I love that style Accord, mainly because that is before they became fat pigs. :) Great looking--I wish the weather would hold off long enough for me to at least wash my car.

that looksreally awesome......quality pics too

Thanks alot for the comments, i actually learned most of the picture taking techniques via this forum. THe dig cam i have is a nikkon and it is 4mp, nothing fancy, the only thing that changed was the fact that i got a tripod(Great investment).

Ya ur right about that, there were parts on the hood that were hologramed which annoyed me but since there wasnt enought time to polish n compound the paint just went ahead and used s100.

THe one technique that ihave learned while polishing is that , to get most of the swirls out i use a rotary. and since i have a very crappy one i cant avoid holograms since the rotory low sleep is 2800RPMS.

SO, to overcome this, what i normally do is , go over a certain part of the car with rotary and then, go over it with pc. Takes less time to polish car that way. unless you have a good rotary. :D
