This car was just purchased for 17k In New Jersey and has 67k on the clock. The car was in absolute TERRIBLE shape! It has gouges all over the trunk, and has cracked fiberglass on the bottom passenger front fender. The previous owner did NOT take care of this car like it deserved. Anyways I washed it 2 times resprayed the car then claybared it then washed it again. It has terrible highway abuse. Rockchips and crap all over it :(. Anyways I didnt have much time with it. I would have loved to had the car for like 6 hours. Anyways, I only got to use Meguairs ColorX and a single coat of Meguairs NXT. He will bring it back to me shortly for a full over detail. I used armour all on the wheels and wheel wells, and a brush with some water, soap on the wheels and then used some wheel cleaner on them.

Thanks, On your car previous cars/work what kind of buffer do you use?

Im still a learing newb and wish to get into the P/C however I dont know where to find the Yellow and White pads and such for the P/C.

I am still using the Orbital Buffer with white terrycloth bonnets.

Good work there. It's a shame how some people "care" for a car.

SO TRUE!

I say you should bite the bullet and purchase the PC. Its probably one of the best investments you can make for a detailer with no regrets. There are a number of sites/vendors that provide you with backplates and pads for the PC .

You can get a PC at lowes for about 106.00 and then a pad kit such as this one from properautocare.com http://properautocare.com/padkitwoveba.html

hope that helps

If you look on the hood of my Chevelle in the garage I have a PC :).

I just need to know of a local store that might carry the backing pads and such...

ahh didnt even see that :up you could probably look for meguiar dealers around your area that can provide the pads locally

have you tried checking out local auto paint and body equipment stores? they might be a good source. also, you might be able to find a meguiar's professional line dealer (check out meguiars website and do a dealer search, not up to date though) and see if they carry a backing plate and pads for your PC.

nice job and pictures. i love the one from ground level.
