My first C&B, though not much to brag about really. Car is my daily driver, 90 miles per day minimum. 156,100 miles on the clock, stock single stage paint was repainted with base/clear 6 years ago, right before I bought it, to correct fading. All except the roof, which remains single stage.

A couple observations first: this was the first time I used Menz IP mixed 50/50 with RMG. This mix worked beautifully, no dusting, minimal splatter, and it just disappeared into the paint. Also first time using Collinite 845. Not quite as easy on/off as FMJ, but a little dab spreads a very long way, and rubs off quite easily. Can't wait to see the beading!

Process:

ONR wash

Clay Magic with ONR QD as lube

IP/RMG 50/50 on LC yellow via rotary, ~1500 rpm. Two passes on hood & roof, one pass elsewhere. Complete correction was not expected nor achieved.

OPS on LC white via rotary, roof only

Collinite 845 by hand

OS in door jambs

Sorry, no befores.

I used OPS on wheels when I put the summer tires back on about a month ago, it really made the flakes pop...
