this was a very quick clean up nothing in depth b/c this truck is on a construction project and it was a freebie

I understand it was a freebie so you did not want to put a lot into it

but next time try a bucket of saop & water with a brush on the floor

they always cean up for me

and some Folex on the seats and it would be a great detail

also if you did some before pics we could understand what you are working with

what buffer are you using?

I see you use #4 alot, that is a heavy cut coumpound was it needed?

I did not tell you to hose it down

if you can't use a towel and dry a plastic floor ...you have problems

just trying to help because it looks like you need it

So make sure you get all the water out then - Use an air compressor. I shampoo the carpets of almost every vehicle I detail. I have yet had a customer return to me complaining of mold...? Unless you're leaving 3 inches of water left behind I don't think the whole mold theory sticks

Josh it's noit carpet palstic with crevices and holes that water that it can sit in but I think I might try it out since it's my truck to see how it looks

I have the same floor in my Ranger and it cleans up extremely easy. You can hit it with an APC, scrub it with a damp cloth, then dry it with another cloth.

Looks good for its age!

Those f-150's will surprise you. My father has owned everything from Porsche to a maybach, but the old f-150 is the most reliable vehicle the family's ever had. (forgive the crappy phone pic)
