1997 Ram, work in progress.

This is our 97 Ram. Has had great care,(hand wash, garaged) but the clear seems really soft, and due to lack of time, has been relatively neglected.

Process: Wash, clay, SSR2.5(whitepad), SSR 1(white, black), RMG(black), EX-P. Meg's hot shine spray on tires, sprayed once, buffed off.

ONLY the front fenders and hood have been done.

Here's some before and after shots...

Great turnaround you achieved there! Keep up that work on the rest of the truck and the finsih will be turning heads everywhere you go.

Thanks, I need a cheering section with this big sucker.

The water spots came out, they were just on the surface. All scratches came out using 2.5/white followed by the others.

The paint looks much better -nice job!

You need to hit the glass with some Clay, Vinegar & a chemical cleaner (AIO or PP).

Nice work on a large truck. I know that I take several days or longer to do my own truck. Water spots are a bain of detailing as well as the spider webbing. SSR2.5 seems to do a good job at correcting. How long will it be before the rest of the truck gets the same treatment??

I'm going to hopefully finish it tomorrow.

In all actuality, I will probably only get the main cab section done.

I will post pics with progress. The rest really isn't as bad as the hood was.

2.5 usually gets rid of the main points, but for me, never finishes down to an acceptable level, so the 1 with both pads works well. I still wish I had something that finished better than 1 with a black pad. Tried PB ProPolish, but didn't have enough product to really experiment.
