1995 Nissan Skyline Gt-r33 Stolen!

This is on every car forum that I have visited today. (I think about 5...) ImportCulture.com, Autopia, BF.C, 3SI.org, and I think it was on LS1Tech.com .

Either way, I hope the guy finds his car. This is truly a bummer. The guys at IC are flipping out because the Skyline is the Holy Grail of their riceristic lives ;)

Yeah, it's going to be tough, that thing will probably never surface again. They know that there is no way they could possibly take it outside, or even leave it near a door for someone to see. That sucks, that's probably a huge part of someones life. Good luck to whoever's it is.

I know the feeling...my pride and joy GS-R was stolen a year and a half ago and recovered stripped. It was a hard to find color with the hard to find OEM body kit. Almost impossible to duplicate again. I was crushed for months. If someone was after a Skyline they are probably not out for a joyride...I imagine they want parts. Did it have any anti-theft?

That car will stick out like a sore thumb in traffic. Too bad most of America (including cops) still don't know what a Skyline or GT-R or R33 is.

that sucks, although at this point it is probably chopped
yeah its a goner for sure, you know how much people will pay for the engine out of that, let alone other things (lights, seats, etc.)

They broke into the shop early in the morning or late at night around midnight-5ish...If anyone has ever seen a Skyline AWD Transmission it doesnt look like a standard Transmission. Its about 12" longer than the T56 on our cars. The stickers on the car are from before SEMA. The car was taken to SEMA without a transmission because they didnot recieve the correct throwout bearing for it.

This car is immaculate. Its Anthracite Grey in color. Has a Custom Orange Painted (NOS brand) bottle with a Bottle Blanket (NOS brand) as well as a CRY02 (brand) intercooler sprayer, HUGE Modern Speed Labs Front Mount Intercooler along with a Huge Modern Speed Labs Radiator. It has SPARCO (brand) Tan with Black Bolsters Racing Seats, a Kenwood In-Dash TV, MOMO Steering Wheel, Custom Powdercoated Cam Covers (Almost a Chamellion Color), Brembo Brakes, HUGE Single Turbo Upgrade with Polished Turbine Housing, One-Off Modern Speed Labs Polished Manifold for the turbo.

We really appreciate everyone keeping an eye and ear out about this. This car was indeed a pride and joy for any serious car enthusiast. Domestic or not this car is a great looking and performing car.

Thanks

-Chris

I hope he has a HUGE insurance policy on that car. Should've had it appraised and valued as a show car or classic, if he didn't already. Damn, I'm sorry for him. He is in my prayers.
