1995 Ford Escort

I did this car for a family friend today. The car had not had any wax or sealant since is was new in 1995. The paint was oxidised and some scratches on the bonnet/hood. The scratches were to deep to remove but at least I reduced some of them. The owner was well pleased after the AIO was buffed off. He thought I had finished. You should have seen the look on his face after i had added the Nattys. He was gobsmacked. The car has improved beyond what I thought it would look like. its the first time I have used AIO on old paint. The results are brilliant. I'm sorry I did not take any "before photo's" I didnt think the car would come out this good.

Gotta love Nattys!!!

Nice work bringing back a tired Escort. I did a '91 Escort a while back, but the owner only kept it clean for about 2 weeks and then never washed it after that. :(

Looks good :xyxthumbs

Is that damage on the rear bumper or just a reflection

The rear bumper is damaged offside on top of the bumper. (covered in a piece of rubber) He said kids throwing stones did the damage. (edited for spelling!)

Looks good - you don't see many Escorts of that year in that sort of excellent condition!!

Was the AIO by hand or did you use a PC??

I always use a pc to apply the AIO. I use a 4" Sonus finishing pad. For me it works better than the larger pads.

Way to go fellow 4-inch pad user! :D I'm waiting for my LC 4-inch pads to arrive but I'm planning to use the white polishing pad for AIO. :D
