I have just finished doing my first Ferrari! Man was i geeked to do this car, Ferraris have always been my dream cars and the best part is not only did I do this car at my house but the guy let me drive it home from his house about 10 miles away!!!!!!!!!!:getdown :getdown :thx Ive done Beemers, SVT's, Benz's, Vette's and even a 1930's Buggati once but this car really got me going.

The car is a 1994 Ferrari 348 Spyder and while in good shape overall had a ton of bad swirls / car wash scratches. I did the interior and a 5 step exterior but no engine this time. Most have mention these are single stage cars but this one was cleared coated and the paint was fairly hard. The owner says its original paint. Process was:

quick detail the car (delare had just washed it)

Clay bar

DACP with polishing pad at speed 5

Sonus Swirl Buster with polishing pad on speed 5

Vanilla Moose by hand

Pinnacle Soveran

Wheels clean and protected with #16

Tires dressed with Turtle Wax Tire Wax

Interior:

Clean interior with Woolite / water mix

Dress with 303

Condition all leather with Lexol conditioner

Clean glass

The best part was the guy asked for business cards, he is a member of an exotic car club with 30+ members driving Ferraris, Lambo's, Aston MArtins, NSX's, etc and said he would tell the guys about my services! He loved the car, siad it has never looked so good. I spent about 6.5 hours on this car but it was fun.

Keep in mind that I did not remove 100% of the swirls on this car, but I did get probably 95%. Given that Ferrari paint is supposed to be thin I felt a cautious approach was best and the owner completely agreed. Afters:

I am so freaking jealous. I envy your right foot, LOL.

That paint is OBVIOUSLY deeper, and.....redder....is that a word? Ah, who cares.

Thanks for the compliments! You know, I would have paid him to drive / detail it, but it was icing on the cake to get paid for a job like this!
