We don't have too many of these driving around here but they come out of the woodwork for car show season and I reckon they're a great looking car.
This one is pretty immaculate for a 20 year old girl but even though the owners have looked after the paint well there are a few signs of aging so some corrective attention was required.
The steps were pretty typical Final Touch polishing, 105 Rotary, 205 Rotary, 205 Orbit, Paint Sealant Orbit topped with High Tech Wax.
I (and the owner) was pretty happy with the result but not having spent a lot of time polishing Fibreglass cars has me wondering if I could get better results with more experience. The panels seem to take longer to heat up but I guess at the end of the day there is only so much paint to work with especially when some of it is 20 years old.
Unfortunately it was raining so difficult to get good shots, but here we go.

During, If ever you meet our Man Tiho here, this is probably the first you'll see of him, head down and polishing.
Tiho and Grant two up
Bonnet shots under our mercury lamps, these show every little defect which can be incredibly frustrating sometimes.
We struggled to get all the scratches out of the tail where things had rested over the years, but the colour seemed to come back ok.
