1991 Acura NSX Complete Vehicle Rejuvenation by DJ Mayo aka Got Leather - 83 pics

Great work and photos DJ. I remember when you called me when you were working on this one...you said it was a tremendous amount of work, but the difference and transformation is stellar.

what a beautiful result. the owner must have followed you around like a nursing puppy when he picked up his NEW car.

Wow, excellent results with a huge change between before and after. It looked like that car hadn't been polished since it was new in 1991!

A couple questions: what kind of hose is that? Seriously, it looks like a quality hose that doesn't kink. I need one of those!

Also, what foam gun is that? I assume you did not use a pressure washer with it?

Thanks, and again, GREAT job!

Sorry for the late response, Rob. I am not sure where the hose is from but if I had to take a stab I would say from Lowe's since it's up the street.

Here is the Foam Gun you asked about.

I use it with a little of Chemical Guys Citrus Wash n Gloss and a little bit of dawn then the rest water and shake it up. No complaints.

Again, thank you for the compliments!!

Killer workmanship, your client has got a real gem now!

The plush MF and business cards is something I use as well, they really love them and always remember me when using them.

Cheers,

GREG (the rocky mountain reflections detailing) LOL

Thanks for sharing!!!

ps If the owner wants to sell it at anytime pls let me know :) :)

Great job on the NSX.

Have you ever used Duragloss Nu Glass vs. Meg 105 on glass? I have always used Duragloss and never had any problems (even on the baked on water spots we get here in FL). Just wanted to see how it stacks up against 105 for glass.

Again great job!

I tried Duragloss 755 on the glass, I tired vinegar, I tried steel wool, nothing! So I stepped up to the 105 and went at it.

Cool, thanks DJ!

holly crap man! That is one huge transformation!! Amazing. I learned something new. I was not aware that you could M105 glass. I would have thought it might have scratched it or something . . . . . nice work though man.

You put some man hours into that thing and the end results show it.

Thanks for the clarification. Man that must have been serious is 755 didnt budge it.

Great work again.

Hi,

I am the owner of this NSX. I would like to thank DJ again for the awesome job he has done for my car. As most members have guessed.. my jaw did hit the ground when I was picking it up. Honestly it does not look like the same car. DJ worked his magic on my ride and as a result I now have a great car that's nice and clean mechanically and cosmetically.

DJ is a great guy to work with and I would not hesitate recommending him to anyone.

Thanks again DJ!

Kenny

p.s. @ Pampos.. sorry.. this NSX is a keeper.
