Rain is coming down like crazy today not much I can do for now, so lets post some pics.

The story on this car, the owner purchased this car when it only had 1K miles. He said to me it's never had paint work done. So bad news first, some panels had paint work. good news paint work was pretty good not perfect but good.

Man, I love those cars. Rolling proof that the 80's were not a complete waste in Detroit.

Great job bringing it back. What the heck does the owner do to it to get it that bad in 4K miles, store it in Brillo?

Some people think just because it's garage kept it will stay perfect, but then they will dry off the car with an old pair of jeans

Oh yeah. Love the Grand Nat's. I was really into those and was looking to find a nice '86 or '87 GN or possibly a T-type. Kinda moved on from just wanting something fast, but still great cars. Like a bulldog, they're ugly and loveable all at the same time.

Great job on this example!

Watch it! (j/k) there where a few other cars from Detroit in the 80's that are awesome!

Auto Makeover: nice job on the GN

Odd, eh? I have a customer with a 1978 BMW M1 and when my sons and I detailed it a few years ago, it had 1931 actual miles on it...but he kept the car immaculate. Plus, an early M1 with such low miles is worth $$$$.

A 20yr old car with 4k miles! That is rare. I agree, a car left 20yrs with little driving isn't going to be in perfect condition without some work. And some damn great work you've done!:wow:
