I found it on You Tube. It was called Auri..."Space Age Polymer".

Impressive. You can use that Auri to cook burgers on your hood, and STILL have a good looking hood.

....this thread brings back memories. I threw out most of my old stuff from then but I bet if I looked in my dad`s garage, there would be several containers of this old stuff in there. Call me weird but I liked the solvent/chemical scent of many of those products from that period.

Here`s the last of my old stuff-a solvent fabric cleaner from the 60`s and whitewall cleaner from the 70`s.

Yeah, I haven`t opened the cap and taken a whiff in a long time, but I`d guess it was Carbon Tet, Naptha or Perk. Put it on today`s interiors and it would probably melt `em.
