which side of the PC should i put the handle if i'm a right-handed person. i seems that both sides are fine.. which one gives the best control ?

I am right handed but like it on the left better. Its seems to give me more controll holding the motor with my right.

I like it on the left side, and hold the motor with my right...but like they say...you have to be comfortable...try it on your washing machine...see which is better....

Jeff

I think most right handed people like the handle on the left side because I think the manual says the handle is for a guide and the primary hand is on the PC itself.

I can use the PC with the handle on both sides but prefer the handle on the left because I am a righty and like to switch the speed dial around with my right hand.

There are many times that I prefer to not use the handle, though I don't remove it. But sometimes the handle gets in the way and if you are very careful, you can "one hand" it occasionally....

Huh... that's strange! I'm a righty, as well, and I always have the handle on the right. It feels weird to use the handle on the left.

I'm a lefty, and of course I put my handle on the right side. I think most people control the trigger and variable speed with their dominant hand. No doubt there are exceptions. Enjoy!

A forum member came to me with this car right as my client for the day rescheduled at the last minute, talk about great timing! It wasn't a correction detail, but it still was a ton of work! Recent paint and a lot of track time plus sitting in an industrial area that left some of the heaviest contamination I've seen to date. Another detailer didn't want to clay it without the owner's help because he knew it would take forever. After a lot of time getting all the rubber off the quarters and hours claying the whole car it started to turn around. This is the pearl white on 2003-up Escalades, and it looked great on this classic. When I started though, it was looking just plain white. When it was done....the pearl was just sparkling! BFWD really made it pop. Sorry the pics are just so-so, I was under time pressure with this one.

Oh, and she runs 10.70s all day long at the track with just a lil' 383 and these Mickey Thompsons! Not a bad combo!

Jeff - what a difference that made to see the real paint. Great job and like Flash, thx for the fix :drool5:

LOL how was all the tar removal treating you from them tires in the back.? You sure do get some nice muscle cars man. Great work for no correction!

Great work Jeff.

You were right, the paint really does pop now. The tar removal must have been a real PITA. Looks very wet.:Dancing Dot:

Thanks guys!!

Yeah it took 2 cans of Tarminator, a pressure washer, degreaser, and a few other tricks too. About 45 min per quarter. Yikes. You can still see some on the very bottom edge...normally we (folks on this site) don't leave stuff like that, but owner told me not to bother and after an hour and a half of dealing with rubber I didn't argue! LOL.
