1970 Eldorado machine wetsanded 1936 Cord + more

That Eldorado is so pimp I can't stand it!!! :up

The rear end design is fantastic. A true work of art. Americans could really do luxury well in the late-60's/mid 70's.

Absolutely beautiful job on it. It's so colossal that it must've been one helluva time commitment.

Bryan,

Outstanding work! I am looking into the 3m air sanding system. What size compressor do you have? What size in the MIN you might suggest?

My local body shop supply sells the 3M pads for 8$ each OUCH.

Cheers,

GREG

Thanks Greg! I was using the 30 gallon that was at the shop. IMO if you are sanding larger panels without stopping, you really need a 60 gallon or something in the 10CFM range.

$8 each is crazy!

Stellar work!

The paint on the Eldorado truly shows the time/effort you both spent.

Thanks Sean! I think about 20 manhours into the Eldo.

I think sanding is the ultimate frontier in paint correction. This thread is the balz on many different levels, to the point that I have considered deleted all my previous click and brags. Awesome pics of the Caddy as well. I laughed, I cried, I did it all and I owe it to this thread. I am going to go sand my dog now...
