While I havent heard back from my client (probably tomorrow) I believe there were 2 other 365 competing but im not sure. Fingers crossed! :)
 
Again, Thanks for the compliments! It is true that PREP is just about everything when it comes to the final look, but wax certainly helps ;)
 
Swwweeeet....Owner just let me know that he brought home Platinum for his class on this 1968 Ferrari 365GT!!!!! Congrats to him!!.. and yay for me now being able to say I have detailed a concours winner! :) :) :) :)

Actually funny thing, the owner said they were easily removable and removed them before I started on the car, made things on the trunk MUCH EASIER!!!! The residue you might see in the picture of the trunk emblems is the water I didnt dry off completely after the re-wash. Other than that, q-tips would have been used lol :)

Wow, I'm a noob to PC and always wondered how you guys polish bad areas in minute spaces like that. Thanks for the insight!

Some areas I can get with a 4 inch pad but a lot areas will not safely fit a 4 inch pad. The only real alternative is by hand or finger lol! They never come out as good as the machine polished paint but it helps either way.
 
Those photos are some of the most beautiful detailing shots I've ever seen.

I cannot believe I never saw this thread before. Absolutely beautiful Chris (I know you don't post here anymore, but if you do...) Was the paint original?
 
Incredible. You did fantastic work.



For 10 year old paint it is not swirled that bad, good to have owners who know how to take care of there cars.



The paint is exceptionally clear and looks to have absolutely no orange peel. I've never seen paint that clear before other then on show cars with $20,000 paint jobs.:2thumbs:
