I worked on this Camaro about 4 years ago. At that time I only preformed a light polish and paint protection. This time around the work was a lot more extensive. The 15 year old lacquer paint had water spots minor swirls and was very hazy. The wheels had water spots and tarnish.
The first step in the correction process was M105 and purple foamed wool. With just one step I saw huge improvement with the paints clarity.
The rest of the correction was done with optimum hyper polish with white pads. Last step was Sonax nano polish 3/6 with black pads. The car was then washed to remove all polishing dust. No LSP had been applied at this point.
The next step was to get the wheels back into shape. For that I use Meguiar’s Heavy, Medium, and fine cut metal polish.
Lastly I applied Optimum opti bond to the tires. For the paint I used Chemical Guys blacklight and 2 coats of DoDo juice blue velvet.
