I was contacted by someone I met on another forum, turns out he is the partner of a company that stores and restores exotic and classic vehicles. When we first started talking, he was telling me of a 1963 Corvette Coupe in Daytona Blue, which was very exciting for me since I happened to do a 1963 Coupe in Daytona Blue over a year ago...what are the chances?!
Daytona Blue is absolutely one of the coolest colors I have ever seen or dealt with on a vehicle, there are so many different hues to it under different temperatures of light. It can appear bright blue, dark blue, a deep purple, or even a lighter purple/blue mix.
Anyway, the car was getting ready to be delivered to the customer almost two hours away from where the work was performed, so once the vehicle was finished, it was loaded directly onto the enclosed trailer and off it went to it's new owner!

A 50/50 shot showing how drastic of a transformation was happening, even under fairly standard lighting that isn't meant for showing defects:
Then the true difference can be seen with my Brinkmann Dual Xenon:

The engine bay needed nothing more than a light wipedown with ONR, as it was mainly just some dust build-up:
All finished:
While it looks great inside, sunlight is the true test, especially with a color that changes as much as Daytona Blue:
30 minutes after final touches, the vehicle was loaded up and headed to it's owner!
