1956 Ford F100 fresh build "ONE BAD FORD"

I was visiting Bob at BOBCO a couple of weeks ago discussing future build plans for my own 53 F100, Bob mentioned to me that he wanted to introduce me to the owner of this new build he had just completed. So I spoke to the owner and made arraingements to see him on Dec 22 to perform my services.

I proceeded to perform a complete paint correction from the interior dash to the gravel pan on this stunning 1956 Ford F100. This "Effie" has been with the same owner for over 17 years and has taken over 3 years to build. For Christmas 2009 he wanted nothing more than to reunite himself with the finally finished truck and share it with his family and friends. So after the upholstery shop did their magic and this fat fendered Ford was back with the owner once again, I recieved a call.........

Upon arrival I performed my inspection and "WOW" what an awesome build! The paint and bodywork which was extemely custom, not only in color but quality was exceptional. I did notice alot of halograms, buffer trails, prep marks, sand scratches and compound splatter all the typical stuff you would find on a custom build that was years in the making....after all this work, correcting the paint and beautifying this truck would be an honor for me.

Built and painted by BOBCO and detailed by Innovative Detailing......see for yourself!.

The next photos show the inspecton pics

OLSKL53 easy paint to care for, flat black...no polishing required!:xyxthumbs

Thank you for viewing.....Happy Holidays

Looks awesome man! those trucks have more curves then a playboy hunny lol. I love older vehicles. There just not the same anymore. I notice you use a pc in your pics. Do you ever use a high speed at all?

Thanks so much.....

BufferBarry, a detailer without a rotary is like a surgical team without a doctor, not a chance!...Here is a short clip of some rotary action, one pass with the yellow pad and some M205 to "burnish or jewel" the paint.....its very difficult as you know to perform your job and take the time to document all of it. But I always carry my handy little Flip mino HD with me as well as the digital camera.....

lol.......love the flip and the software that comes with it is pretty neat as well....the only down side is the small screen on the mini, besides that its :up

Thank again for the comments on my work, funny how an owner can spend so much $$ on paint. Then you have my 53 that is just rattlecanned by my son and myself in the garage and people love it flat and black, and the plate says it all OLSKL53

I love fat fendered Fords!

Nice work!

Fat fenders definately make a statement.....especially when they are running steam rollers under them, tubbed and tucked under those fenders. Also the fact that they look so animated from the front, grill, lights, wide fenders.... which was what compelled me to purchase mine. Thanks alot for the good words!

Thank you for your wonderful comments, would love to see some shots of that panel....hard work definately, but in the end when you see your customers face light up and the content in their eyes......it's "Worth it"

Feel free to ask any questions and if I can be of any help I will....
