What a car. This car has been done right
The paint alone is $40k
When you consider the long wide panels on this car and you have a chance to look closely from every angle, not only is the finish flat, but it has no waviness anywhere. A really masterfull job on the prep prior to this car being painted when it did
To say it was a privilege and an honor to have it trusted into my hands, underscores the way I felt

Process:
Menzerna with 3M Ultrafina SE white pad and Flex DA
Some heavier defects were removed vis orange pad and M105
The final two steps were Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish and Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant

Aluminum polished wheels polished with Medallion High Gloss Polish
Interior leather with DG541
Engine bay cleaned with DG501

OMG!! Is there a drooling icon cuz thats what im doing!!! Car looks awesome and looks like it has a mean engine under the hood too :D Great job!

Thanks guys
If there was a car that no pictures will ever do it justice in the way it really looks in person, is this one
Absolutely gorgeous!
I cleaned everything by hand inside the engine bay. I didn't find a rough spot on any painted part at all. Everything was sanded and polish to perfection. This car is a 10!
Beautiful american classic for sure!

That is an amazing car...and the tri-5's have really skyrocketed in price. Great job on it!

P.S. I still want that camaro!

WOW that is one hot car, a true American Muscle.

There is a club around me, and cars like this one are plenty here, but they wont let you look under the hood or even get near them.
and believe it or not most of them are old guys and gals and they hang at Dunkin Donuts on sunday mornings.
I pass by them with my starbucks cup in my hand...Hehe

I know this is an old post but I was browsing thru the shine and show and since I love the 55/56/57 Chevys I had to take a look. This 55 blew me away. What an amazing job on a beautiful car. The color is fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for digging this up. I had missed this one. What an awesome ride :Car smiley:

Wow awesome job. A true classic that never goes out of style. I like the Camaro as well. Is that a '73. I think that is the year GM used the Vette tailights.

Thanks guys.
I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.
It's been a pleasure working on those cars.

BTW, for over a week now, I've been working on those same cars again.
I just finished the '73 Camaro Z28, and a 67 or 68 Ford Mustang Eleanor clone.
These cars are 2 of six I'm working on right now, and I should be done with them in another week.

The reason I'm back detailing these cars is because they will go to the auction block.
They will be at Barrett & Jackson January 19th.
I've got the Camaro, the Mustang, the Bel-Air, a 58 Corvette, a 67 Stingray, and a 58 Ford Pick-up truck that is a beauty going to the show.

Once I'm done detailing, I will post my work.
The work is a little different than the last time I've detailed these cars.
The level of detailing this time around is close to Concours quality.
I want these cars to be top-notch when they leave to Scotdale, Arizona by the 2nd week of January.

That is so cool that you get to do all of those beautiful cars. I'm sure with your talent they will bring some very high bids. I bet all of the big time car collectors will be chomping at the bit to have them in their stables. Yes please post pics when you are done with them so we can drool some more
