17 coats of SG?!?!?!

Thanks for the effort but either you have a real slow server or those pics still have a very large file size.



I should be on broadband within a month though...I hope.



Looks really good from the two pics I've seen after about 5 minutes. :p

Sorry Scott, they're still about 300 kb's. :( They don't look good if you shrink, or turn down the quality though, sorry bud.



I like something new. Someone send me enough pinnicle to do 17 coats. Lest we compare. :)

Eh, carnubas don't layer well. They're too soft. After a few coats, you're just removing the previous one.



How 'bout 17 layers from a 10 year old bottle of NuFinish? :p

Wow. I wanted to tell you that your car looks great!



...but you can shrink the pics down considerably without losing that much quality. I took the liberty of taking one of your huge images and shrinking it down to 75kb. It's not as glorious as the 1Mb version but it's a lot better for the internet! It's a major improvement over 300kb as well. :D

nice work.. as for the 17 coats, not a waste, but "detailing therapy" as I say.. there's worse you could be doing so its not a waste of time imo
 
Looks great and not a waste at all..When youre 16 years old, theres nothing but time !! I wish I were 16 again.

Ditto. The bead shot is incredible. I was rather taken with the idea of doing one layer of SG per year of age. Some of us, by the method of one coat per year of age, some of us would be applying our LSP until sometime next year! (I'm nearly 3 times your age!) Perhaps some of the product manufacturers would give major discount for the bulk purchase required by some of us to do the one coat per year of age. A whole new basis for the "senior citizen" discount!
