150,000 miles and counting(pics)

It definitely helps if the Accord has spent its entire life in Tenn which is probably salt-free in winter time. The subframe/unibody parts tend to go long before the drivetrain throws the towel in.

I've had many Hondas breach the 100K miles mark but none of them have looked as good as yours when exceeding the century mark let alone 150K.

You should be proud, nice work inside & out.

Yeah, salt is sending my '91 LeBaron w/ 188k miles to an early grave. When I went out to get some detailing supplies today, I had to tuck a chunk of the soundproofing insulation back in that keeps falling out of the big rust hole behind the door. :) But it still runs like a champ! Wonder how long till the matching rust spot on the driver's side opens up wide enough to let the insulation out... hmm... :brick

great job, that car looks fresh from the factory, if not better! my car has almost 50k miles now, and you've inspired me to keep it for another 100k.

oh, and is that deck stock?

Wow, this thread is pretty old. The car now 167,000+ on it and is going to be sold soon.

Zesty, that is definitely not the stock unit. I don't remember the part number, but when I bought it that was Pioneer's TOL head unit.

Thanks guys I appreciate the compliments!!! I have no doubt that this car will provide someone with quality, reliable transportation for years to come. I am still a bit sad to see her go though. :miss

That looks a heck of a lot better than my 150,000 mile taurus. WOW! Keep up the good work, and may the Accord last you for as long as you have it.

I must concur I have a 93 Accord SE...clients see my car looking good at 11 years old the trust factor rises;)
Why do you live so far? Was thinking of getting that body style soon... :ticked How much you sellin it for?

Well, I'll ask...what is going to be the replacement? :)

Our '96 Volvo 950 GLT has hit the 150K point, hoping to see 200K roll over. The paint and interior still look very nice. Kudos to Volvo's wonderful workmanship and materials. A good maintenance programs doesn't hurt ;) I can't say the same for their A/C systems though :(
