I'm open to comments, critique and even flames. I just ask you be gentle

Paitn looks excellent!

Those HREs are very nice, I detailed a red vert with those a few months back. I used a full size mothers powerball, I'll bet the mini powerball would work great for those.

I know how you feel. It was a 103 today and I had to take a 30 minute break to rehydrate and get out of the sun and in some AC.

Been in the low 100's all week and 4 days straight, we had no shade to work in. :nervous2:

Really beautiful wet yellow paint on your 'Vette. :bow

no shade? you are a beast.

w-o-w very nice job, I have seen alot of yellow Vette's in the industry I work in but that is by far the best paint I have ever seen!

Quick question for you though... I had an 01 Yellow Z06 and I was curious if the shade on your rear bumper was different then the rest of the car? If you got up close mine had a noticeable difference and the car only had 12k on when I sold it...

Thank you very much for all the postitive comments, guys, I don't even remember the heat now... except for that blister on my right hand, DO NOT leave your cyclo in the sun :o

NickMach1 I don't notice a distinct color variance in my rear bumper. And I'm giddy at the color match of my hood (aftermarket), paint shop did a great job. Mil Yel is a fun, but strange color; it does tend to "shade" with angles, especially the angle of the light hitting it. Some people have actually accused me liking it...

I don't think PP has much "cutting" ability, it does do a decent job of very minor scratch removal (hiding). Family and friends ask me "will you do my door handles" (key and nail scratches) when they come over. It cleans up metal and plastic well, too.

That is true for pretty much every car out there. Paints do not bond to plastic the same way they bond to metal, so light reflects just a bit differently off painted plastic. I have a brand new brilliant red '06 350Z and in bright sun, if I look closely at either bumper, the paint has a slight orange hue to it; nothing you can see from 4 feet away, but it is there!

Agreed, but in his (and my) case, there isn't much metal on a vette :)
