10 Second STREET car

Thanks. I agree, I'm a huge fan of keeping a car looking as stock as possible. On some cars, small mods here and there are ok, but for the most part, I like stock looking cars.

way2sslow- I'm late to this party, but I wanted to add my praise for both your work and the way that thing's such a sleeper :xyxthumbs

Looks like he runs decent size front tires on the street, and I like it without the emblems too...I have a real soft spot for those early Fox platform cars when they're done right like that one.

Thanks! Ya know, it's funny...he runs drag radials on all 4 corners so he can rotate them. He typically runs the Nittos because they seem to last the longest on the street. Not the best traction of all the DR's but they seem the be the best combination of traction/wear. He really cant run any normal street radial if he wants to drive the car "spiritedly."

Thanks guys.

B,

I gotta keep practicing if I want to get way up there on your level with ya. I kinda cheat a little bit though. I'm not scared to turn away cars like your LS430. :D

The next time I get a car like that Lexus, I am going to refer them to you. :idea :rofl

That's mighty nice of you B. Ya know I'll just sublet it to Mike and mark it up 75%! :D

I hate to drag up an oldish post, but I just had to. I ran into this guy at the dragstrip the other night and remembered the car immediately. Super nice guy and the car is amazing. The paint was of course a mile deep and the only car in the staging lanes w/o swirls. :xyxthumbs

Anyway, I had the unfortunate experience of getting paired with him on one of my runs. It was a close race until about the 3 ft mark :lol and then he became a red dot in the distance, running an 11.69. :bow

Ha, well as the OP states, he did the 10 sec with fats and skinnys. This night he had equal size front and rears, so his 60' was only 2.01 (on the other side of my time slip).
