My 10 would be:

1. Increased pride in ownership.

2. Higher resale value

3. Clean interiors smell better

4. Clean interiors keep your clothes clean

5. Clean glass makes visibility better, especially at night

6. Professional detailers have the equipment, products and expertise needed to do the best job

7. Cost are small compared to the potential lost value of an undetailed car

8. Protects your paint, rubber and plastic trim

9. Your car will simply look better than even many brand new cars

10. Clean cars tend to stay clean longer

You said it all Scott. Add one more, a detailed car is the closest you can get to a new car with out spending all the money.

Makes them feel confident.

I read in one of Donald Trump's books that he thinks a person who drives a dirty car is stupid. You could hunt down that exact quote and include it. Might catch a few eyes.

Congrats on the article, good luck!

One important reason I haven't seen listed yet:

Pretty girls will stop and use your car as a mirror to fix their hair.

:chuckle:

He defines a loser, is someone who puts "a for-sale sign on a dirty car.

One selling point, is health reasons. A car with a lower amount of dust mites and dander is healthier for the owner.

how about ... regular washing / cleaning preventing rust and extending life of car body, getting more years out of the car

i've had several friends get rid of cars with bad body rust while the engine was mechanically ok.

Increase your gas mileage? That's a new one to me! :D

I'd say #1 is protecting your cars paint and appearance. So that will be my contribution.

Of course! A slick, waxed surface gives you less wind resistance. :grinno:

I met Brad and have seen his work. He is your man. He is mobile.

01bluecls- I sent you a PM. The newspaper article has not materialized as of yet. It was the Loudoun Times Mirror. The editor seemed interested, but he never got back to me or responded to emails.

Thomas- Thanks for the endorsement buddy.

Nice avatar.

Hey Thomas, sorry if it seems like I didnt think of you for some of my clients, my first thought was you, but I know its a bit of a drive from Fairfax to Ashburn! We need to have a meet and "detail showdown" between the 3 of us! I will prolly lose if we had such a thing but it would be fun none the less! :dance I bet you guys are ready for the next week or so with temps predicted to be above 60's- and low 70's woohhooo!

Chris, no worries. It is a long drive indeed. Brad is the one who should be taking on the clients out in Ashburn from you. I do appreciate you trying to look out for me.

I say YES to a meeting, but not to a competition :D Remember it takes for ever to master the art of detailing. Maybe we can all "help" each other to be better at detailing. Yes Yes?

I just looked at the 10 day forcast and fri - rain & warmer BUT sat/sun is around 70!!!!

Just received an e mail from a 5? x a year client with 3 cars about an appointment for later this week. They are too rich and too cheap. (wife is) :shocked

Keep in touch and let me know what dates are good for you. I'll be away from April 3 to April 15

Thomas
