$10 California Water Blade

I got one scratch too many with one years ago. I couldn't believe it was happening b/c there were no particles on the paint and nothing on the blade. BUT there must have been some imperfection b/c I was getting a scratch with every swipe. I threw it out . I recommend my customers do the same.

BUT....glad you found a deal for you. Just be careful.

really no wonder its on clearance !!! i heard from two of the best that its a great product and in order to make it work the vehicle has to be well wash.

It can still scratch your paint, no matter how well you wash the car. In my opinion, it's not worth it. Use a blower to get the car mostly dry, and then go back over it with a waffle weave and some QD to get the rest.

^ that sounds more reasonable i will try. i just bought a shop vac with blower attached. i just bought the jelly blade because i always seen them marked at a pricey cost and this one seemed a deal.thanks

^^ You're welcome. I would just hate to see anyone go to use that blade to dry their car after a compound stage or something and bring back all the scratches that they just spent time removing.

Threw mine away 2 years ago, everyone here said it was junk. It will scratch if a small particle gets stuck to the blade and you drag it all over the car to dry it. Scratches everywhere! Sounds crazy ,and over kill, but it can and will happen. Imagine buffing and a small pebble gets stuck to the pad. Then you use it to buff your car. HIGH Speed Scratches! :bawling:

I used to use it often and later found out the damage it was causing. I still use it occasionally for the windows but after using ONR, its getting used much less.

I've had one for 7years. Never scratched my cars.

Some things I do before and after washing:

1. Make sure its clean

2. Don't use on a dry surface. Even if it's a little dry.

I don't use it all the time, but again no issues here.

I'll only use my waterblade on windows to fling the majority of the water off..then buff with towels.

Would not use on my paint..
