She was built in October of 1999 and sports an ASC conversion number of 1,575 (ASC is the company that performed the WS6 modifications for GM).

It's a beauty, for sure!! However, wasn't SLP the company that performs the WS6 modifications for GM?

And, any picts of the underside of the hood? I'm wondering where the ram air hits the air filter (I'm guessing from the front under that housing)? I only recall seeing the ones with the open filter element that the hood seals on.

WS6 are very nice. Love the wheels and mods, you've done a great job taking care of her. Keep up the good work, you know she loves you for it. ;)

THANKS again all!! :D I also forgot to mention that I have removed the body side moldings and "Trans Am" lettering from the doors.

Nicky Pass ~ 21,900

Aurora40 SLP did the SS conversions of the Camaro's for GM while ASC did the WS6 conversions of the Firebird's.

sweet ride! i know what you mean about becoming attached to your car. i'm there too. :D

is the strut tower bar, that red one in the engine bay, stock or aftermarket? and love all the mods you've done. hopefully 30 years from now you'll still have it and be showing it off as a 'classic'. :xyxthumbs

MANY THANKS all!! :up

Reid that strut tower brace is an aftermarket piece made by Hotchkiss. It was actually the very first mod I did to her!

I looked at the photos again Mike and they are really sharp. I like how clean the brakes on the wheels are in particular. :xyxthumbs
