Beautiful work on this one Rasky. The nicest black Caddy I've seen here in a while. What makes this different is the way you display and prove your final finish to be flawless without the need for sun shots. Not hidden(unrevealed) in the shaded far away shots like many others. Great work!

Thanks David! I was really hoping I would have sun shots too though but it ended up getting cloudy as they day went on.

I do the same thing for trunk lids, usually stuff a folded towel in there.

I don't know what it is about Cadillac paint but we just don't seem to get along! :nixweiss





....maybe I better rethink that idea of getting a used CTS-V!

good job on the shrids! lol my black benz has a few of those that i can get out with my pc but they arent really that noticeable and once the car has a coat of lsp and a coat of autoglym hd wax it looks almost perfect.

most aggresive i have goten was a 4in yellow pad on my pc with some megs ultimate compound(from what i read its the consumer version of the 105.



i was actually buying an 07 just like that but it had the 2 tone black red interior but when i kept it for a day it wasent what i expected power wise.

M105 has a noticeable amount more cut than Ultimate Compound, but yeah, they are similar.

The GM paint on these cars as well as a few other black GM's I've worked on have been very touchy paints. :nixweiss
