Hello all and Happy New Year to you and yours!!

You know what I'm going to say next....I love my job. :chuckle:

Today I got to work on one of my all time dream cars...this beautiful 997 Turbo Cabrio. It belongs to a long time client of mine who waited close to a year to have this car delivered after he ordered it. It's a six speed model outfitted with the Sport Chrono Package. When activated this neat little option allows a a small window of "overboost" raising the torque figure from 460lb.-ft to 505lb.-ft!!! :bolt IMHO these 997 Turbo's are the perfect blend of luxury, razor edge handling and gut wrenching power...when I hit the lotto...one will be in my driveway.

This Turbo is brand spanking new showing just 183 miles on the odo. As such it needed very little to bring up to snuff. It had the smallest bit a marring and a few areas with some light rotary holograming. Below is a description of process and products used.

Enjoy,

Mike

Wash with Meg's Gold Class shampoo

Polish with Poorboy's PwS using a LC white pad and my PC set at 5-6.

Seal with Poorboy's EX using a foam pad by hand.

Clearkote's VM on all clear bra sections and the tires have AA.

nice work. It turned out awesome. That is such a sick car. I just read that turbo cabs were one of about 2 or 3 porsche models that did better in sales since last year. Understandable when you look at these pics :)

1 Clean WS6,
