It's been a LONG time since I last posted a detailing write up. To be honest, I haven't been taking care of my car like I would want to for the last year or so. I was busy blah blah blah. Now on to the write up!

No befores on this one (sorry), but the car was in rough shape when I started. It's my DD and it's outside 24/7. Plus, during the winter the maintenance guy at my building brushes the snow off all the cars. he's not quite as careful about it as I would be. :shocked

This detail was performed piece-by-piece over three sessions. BTW, sorry for the dark pictures. It was dusk when I took them.

Let's start with the engine. Cleaned with Megs Safe D-Greaser and various brushes then dressed with CD2 Engine Detailer. A few spots were also dressed with Megs Ultimate Protectant.

Next, the interior. All plastic/rubber/vinyl was treated with DP Interior Protectant. Clear plastic was treated with Plexus. Leather cleaned with 4 Star Leather Cleaner and conditioned with Pinnacle Leather Conditioner. Glass cleaned with Invisible Glass. Rugs shampooed with Zep High Traffic Carpet Cleaner.

Finally, the extrior was washed with Poorboy's SS&S. Clayed with old school Pinnacle yellow clay (I have a stash). Glass was polished with DP Glass polish. Exterior plastic/rubber was treated with Megs Ultimate Protectant. Wheels cleaned with Megs WB then treated with DP Wheel Glaze and sealed with DP Spray Sealant. Tires cleaned with DP Wheel/Tire Cleaner Gel then protected with 2x Opti-Bond. Front wheel wells were cleaned with Megs Safe D-Greaser and treated with CG Bare Bones. Rear wells are carpeted and were cleaned with Zep High Traffic and a pressure washer. For the paint I got out my Flex 3401 and for tight areas my Griots 3" polisher. Started with SIP on an orange LC pad then moved to Optimum Polish II on a white LC pad and finished with PO85RD on a blue LC pad. Finally I applied Swissvax Cleaner fluid via Flex on a blue LC pad before applying 2x Swissvax Concourso.

Here are the results:

Probably not my most eloquent write-up but I hope you guys enjoy the pictures. A BIG thanks to my friend Scott who has been detailing with me since late last summer. Without Scott's help I know I'd never have enough time to do this.
