great job, Props for the amount of time you spent on the paint!

^^i disagree i think they look outta place on that car because it sits soo high above them. Thats just me. Every man to his/her own.

good job on the detail though!

Nice job, how long did it take you? Also is the paint extremely soft, hence why you corrected with SIP on black foam?

How much do those wheels weigh? I hate it when people put big, heavy rims on their car. I think the biggest rims on a car should be the smallest that can fit over the brakes(for the most part). Gear the car to take tires that suit the car, low pro's for sporty and big sidewalls for comfort.

/End Rant

It took about 9hrs and I don't think GM paint is that soft, I find that GM and Audi have some of the harder paints. As for as the black foam pad I use a number of different foam pad in this case I used a black foam from buff & shine it has little more grit then the white polishing foam pad it worked a little better then the white. And no I'm not a big fan of huge chrome wheels either but it must be a thing in my area with big wheels just to show you the next few cars I have lined up that have huge wheels are:

another Escalade with 26" a 650 with 22" a S500 with 20" a Hummer with 28" .

Wow, brake rotors are so small on that thing.

I was thinking the same thing...they are actually probably really big but just look small compared to those obnoxious rims...why people do that...and not atleast lower the car an inch or so to compensate for that gap in the wells in beyond me as well. just my 0.2

You're assuming people actually put intelligence into wheel choices for their SUV. That rarely happens. What does happen is the following...

(Owner of SUV): What's the biggest wheel I can fit on this thing?

(Shop Owner): This 2x" wheel.

(Owner of SUV): OK.

THE END.

Do you see how much thought went into that?

Gottcha, I thought you were using the LC black finishing pad w. SIP and it seemed a little odd.
