Even though I prefer the M5, I can't force myself to lie. That is one sexy car.

Great choice on the 6-speed too. I think bmw really hurt themselves by not offering it to begin with. Both among their customers and their pocketbooks.

I did the BMW M driving school in SC and had extensive seat time in Z4M, M5, and M6.

To tell you the truth the M5 was the most fun to drive out of the bunch. The active seat bolsters in the M5 really hold you still in the tight corners and make the driving experience much more fun.

BMW can keep the SMG, it is junk. The lag between shifts is annoying and the fact that US cars don't have the fully active launch control takes all the fun out of the driving experience.

I will take a 6 speed over the SMG any day.

NICE WORK!!!!:wow:

No engine shots??? How could you?:lol

M6 cars are nice... if you like 4 doors.. I don't care how much they put into those things, it's still a sedan. I've driven one and another M6 with just about the same setup. Fast, handles well but you're still hauling a sedan around. They are fast though and stage-2 is a big improvement. But it's still no Porsche!:chuckle:

Seriously, that's a big improvement on the finish!!!!:bigups

Deanski I think you are thinking about the M5 which is indeed a sedan. Here is one I detailed...

The M6 is a coupe...a big coupe. I 100% agree with you that it is in no way a sports car of the same caliber as your 911 but rather more of a Grand Touring vehicle. Gobs of power and handling but it does sacrifice some of the knife edge reflexes for luxury.

great job with the detail! it's amazing what detailing can do to a car!

do you do detail for anyone? self-contractor? I really REALLY need a detail on my car and I'm actually in Marietta!! will you let me know!
