'07 BMW Alpina B7 detail

The wheels are some of the cleanest designed wheels i have ever seen and they are only a scant 1700ish per wheel but the do look great in person.

Great detail!

:thx all for the kind words and the congrats!!!

It's good to "see" some of the old faces still haunting my favorite detailing website!! :buffing:

Al I'm a HUGE fan of the Flex. It's raining here today so maybe I'll type my review of it.

jordanrossbell the rims were actually fairly easy to clean. They are large enough to allow me to work a mitt inside the barrel section.

OTG Vinyl I last saw and spoke to Lee and Brett Memorial Day weekend at a car show in the ATL.

Seth...my bad...it does seem kind of naked without it!! I'll make up for it in the next detail. Oh...and GO BLUE!!!! The run begins anew next Sunday brother!!

The valve stem is indeed behind the lug cover.

Great job on the Alpina. I am curious about the BMW wax did you like it? Also someone mentioned the BMW wheel cleaner - is it any good? My BMW suffers from the dreaded wheel dust and I would love to save on shipping.

As for Alpina they are very special vehicles indeed. In Europe Alpina is actually a fully accredited manufacturer. They are not usually sold in the United States - only two models were sold - the last 450 or so of the Z8 and the B7s. I so wish I could have one.

The next time you talk to him, please say Andrew said hello. I had the red Mustang he and I detailed at his house then went to the UPS car show the following day a few years back.

Wow that looks awesome, very beautiful work. Goes to show you that the LPS doesnt make the finish...the prep does!

I hear the B7 Alpina's have ridiculously hard clear coats, how did you find this one?

Hi

Last time i checked the BMW USA dealer wheel cleaner was P21s, its an acid free wheel cleanier that needs to be applied, spread and left to dwell. Its cheaper then buying regular branded P21s and you can maybe buy it in your nearest city or town.

i would like to know more about the BMW wax, is it a P21s product rebranded and if so what one?

Geoff

Mike, Congrats to both of you on the birth of your son. IME and as you stated your life has real meaning now.
