07 Accord Pics and Question

I am a newbie detailer and just recentely got this car and I have attached what it looks like now, sorry for the quality of the pictures a little cloudy outside. Is there anything else I could do to the car to make it really shine and pop? I also added a picture of the products that I used.

It's white, that is about as good as it gets with OTC stuff. You would need to step it up to a Random Orbital like a Griots RO, Meguiars G110V2, Porter Cable 7424xp, a series of polishing pads and some good polishes.

What kind of condition is the paint in now? As with everything, jumping on to a PC with a compound and orange pad is not the go-to solution.

It's white, so it hides damage already. If the paint is in good condition, concentrate on keeping it that way. Clay bar, glaze, seal, and wax. Those will be your best friends! Unless the car is heavily damaged, swirled, or marred, I would leave it just the way it is and keep up the maintenance like you have been. No need to start removing clear from a practically brand new car if it doesn't need it.

Every few months I would recommend a dawn wash, clay bar, Poorboy's White Lighting glaze, a quality paint sealant, and a couple days later, some nice carnauba wax. Give it a quick wax every 4 to 6 weeks between deep cleanings.

Grind the paint down with M105/orange >M205/white then learn how to properly maintain it and you'll never have to worry about CC failure. Give that car a new chance at life and baby it moving forward.

It's not single stage is it?

The paint seems to be in really good condition I just got the car last Thursday. It had a lot of red spots on it which I posted pictures of in a earlier thread and I used a clay bar to get them off. But as far as swirl mark or anything like that goes there is none to be found. Could you recommend a good glaze and seal product, I don't really know much about those two.

Thanks for all the information guys!

I primarily use Poorboy's products. They're affordable, smell great, and go on and off very easily in sun or shade. On a white car you'd want to use the White Lightning glaze, and follow it up by a thorough application of Poorboy's EX sealant, or EX-P. EX sealant has carnauba in it, so it looks a little warmer, but it won't last as long as the pure EX-P sealant.

Remember to let the sealant sit for 30-60 minutes (if the car is in the shade) after application before wiping it off with a soft microfibre, this will give you the best results :)
