It's been quite awhile since I've posted here, due to moving and not having my equipment with me. I recently bought another WRX and managed to find someone that I could borrow a PC off of to do a bit of work. The black Saab belongs to a friend who wanted to clean it up a bit to sell. We weren't going for total correction here, so a one pass job to clear most of the swirls was the goal.
We ended up using the PC with Megs Ultimate Compound on a 3m black polishing pad, which worked well since Subaru paint is fairly soft.
Clayed, one step polish with the UC, and topped off with S100 on both vehicles.
Our subjects today.
The WRX:
I have a lot of rock chips and other defects on my hood..
