I have been doing some work for a local body shop. This Viper was purchased by a dealership here from one of those performance driving schools..

I took the pics with my cell phone and it didnt do much justice. The car was covered with tar, etc..I also had to remove the clear bra from both front fenders and color sand some paint imperfections...

Products used where all Meg's, with exception of the polish and compound..which was 3M PI2..

Enjoy.. this is my first Click and Brag posting, I will bring my digital camera with me from now on..

wow great job what lsp and final polish?

I have posted about this specific shop before. They make me use only the products that they and their paint manufacturer recommend....which limits me to about one 3M or Meg's product for each stage.. they also dont want shine on rubber or vinyl.

I clayed the vehicle and had to do an extensive "go over" with solvent to get rid of the tar and the very thick adesive that came from the clear bra...went over with 3M PI2 compound, followed by 3M PI dark finish glaze and finished off with a coat of Megs Hi-tech Yellow wax..and thats all she wrote. They are paying me pretty well per vehcile, so no compaints that I cant get too in depth..they get what they want, no complaints from either side.

nice, what # was it out of the 200 made that year

The last four of the VIN where 1008, so I assume it was the 8th..

I had a hell of a time with it, not used to all those vents and ducts to the engine..also took me about a half hour trying to find the hood latch lol...

A very nice looking car..however, the exhaust which runs under both doors (beneath the panels) is already fairly rusted with the car having only 1700 miles..and the wind noise is awful..you feel like you are in a go-cart..

I would still drive it though...:D

My client with the 3 vipers has #17 of the 200 made. Now he is going to get a 2008 one also.
