Hey guys, i've learned a lot in these forums and recently i was asking alot of questions about some new products i was trying.. well i tried them and here is the results.

Process.

Wash with Eagle One

AIO (green pad) to remove old wax

RMG (blue pad)

EX-P by hand

Natty's Blue by hand

Tires got #40, Wheels got AIO, Glass got Stoners

I wish the color were a bit darker, but more so i wish my camera taking skills didn't suck, along with my camera.

Enjoy

looks good. i have a few questions. im completly new to the car detailing thing. i just got my '06 flint mica scion tc last week and i want to wax it. i was looking into a kit containing the following:

klasse all in one

Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze

8 oz. Pinnacle Souverän wax

16 oz. Pinnacle Crystal Mist Spray Wax (to shoot on after washes, between the real waxing jobs)

would this yield a good result on the flint mica too? or should i get what you applied?..what would the difference be between the klasse high gloss sealent glaze and souveran wax as opposed to the ex-p and the natty's blue (im assuming those two pairs accomplish the same thing but im not completly sure)

and what is RMG? who makes it and what does it do?

and when you say green pad and blue pad, are those different pads for an electric polisher? i would be applying everything by hand

im looking for maximum protection and at least 2 months between major waxes

thanks

You are a VIP of FANG LAY? This is confusing.

Man, I could not figure out where you were coming from on this - took me a while to notice the plate frame. " I am a VIP at Findlay Scion" - across the top it reads "www.findlayscion.com". LOL!! Gotta love those dealership slogans. Toyota of Orange has plate frames that read "You won't get a lemon - at Toyota of Orange"

pmagill1421, that tC looks awesome after you got your hands on it - flake is great!

Great job! I really love the tC in Flint Mica. That's probably the best color available from Scion. Saw one at the auto show last year and was drooling over it.

honestly, i'm not extremely familiar with any of these products. this was my first time using them but all were very easy to use... yes i used an electric random orbital polisher..it was a porter cable 7336.. I used sonus' pads that I bought as a set, but you can use all those products you mentioned by hand.. i haven't used SG yet but after using all in one i was extremely tempted to use the sg i have instead of rmg, ex-p,natty's... because after aio the finish was smooth, clear, and very reflective.. i am pretty sure SG just adds to that... RMG is red moose machine glaze made by a company called clearkote which is designed primarily for darker colors..on the flint mica, it made it look slightly more wet but in all honesty, i'm not sure i would use it again on flint mica... i bought it from www.pakshak.com and it was a pleasure doing business with them. i know aio and sg will last your 2 months expectancy, but souveran probably wont.. it's a high end carnuba wax that has a shorter expectancy but looks great on darker colors. because of all the metallic and how flint mica isn't a extremely dark color.. i might suggest something else... but there are so many products out there you can choose from an array of things. good luck with your new scion man.. my girlfriend and i love hers.

MegaGoo instead of the Souverän I would try natty's or goto a harley store and get some s100 paste wax its way less money and just about the same looks

I liked the loved the look of s100 on my IIP TC

or for the best durability for a carnauba wax try collinite 845 IW
