06 Saab 9-3 (56k warning)

Don't shop at Wal-Mart
I havent polished this car in about 7 weeks. I have been wiping it with 425 and Spray & Wipe after each rain here in New York. I think it looks good considering the conditions. Ill go over it with Menzerna FPII and Z5pro / NAtty's blue in a few weeks. I have a busy summer this year. This is a shot right from a day parked outside at the train station.

Thanks to the guy from MA to show me this shot.....

I tried to get the most un-flattering light as possible to show the condition to everyone

Having detailed a black Saab I want to state that the depth and gloss of the black paint in Jdoria's detail pics is exactly how Saab black looks. I say this because sometimes certain settings or cameras tend to throw pics off a bit from their reality, but that exactly how glossy and deep Saab black is in person..

I think saab has mastered the color of non-metallic black. Don't you think.

Now if they could reduce their orangepeel it'd be perfect.

Great detail...

Thanks

I agree, it is a nice black. The orange peel is a new free addition since GM took over the shop. My 1999 pre-GM car was a higher quality car all around.

I should post pics of the interior. The seats and steering wheel are beautiful.

They put the orange peel into that truck to make the paint more durable and to make surface marring less visible.:D

Sean - I have to say . I hate the Toureg! I thought it was just like my Catenne, but it is not! It was too much of an impulse purchase. I am still getting a Cayman S or whatever special model Porshce decides to announce for 07, I can order next month (aug).

The Toureg has been through the carwash 4 times already, no love.

Very nice looking Saab. For some reason I am seeing alot more of the 9-3 models on the road. The only thing I would recommend is tinted windows. That would really set the car off.
