'06 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT detail

For a ~$117k car, I agree with Anothony that the interor color combo is a bit :bolt. But, you sure did make the exterior all purdy. :cooleek:

I know he is sick of hearing it but I have to once again thank fellow Autopian GTScott for this referral. In this business nothing is more valuable than word of mouth referrals in particular ones of this caliber. So...THANK YOU again Scott!!! :up

Putting two friends together in this situation was nothing. I am glad that things continue to work out.

The car came out GREAT! What did you think of the paintwork on it as far as paint texture?

Did you happen to get the joy of meeting that particular vehicle's owner? :har:

My DB9 is a very similar color. I have decided that it sits too much and am going to sell it. I plan to drop it in our showroom to try to move it. Prior to that, it may need the exact same routine you did on the GS. Drop me a line if you want to help me with this.

I am going to have a talk with Scott, the best he can get me is a tagteam with him on a black dodge truck. :bigups

Picky picky. To what level are you bonded? See, when Mike messes up, I can have all of the wrath of the lawyers come and remove his "cod piece."

You know, that 96 Dodge Dakota needs to be washed too...

:bow Amazing work per usual...thought I was going to see that silver beauty you won an award with at the United Way show. :)

Of course, it's not a Mike post without the world famous "codpiece" shot. :D

I'll be over to wash the dodge later. :tumblewee

Sweet. The Quattroporte is a stunningly beautiful car, and the color is awesome!

Nero Carbonio: Carbon Black in Italiano!

:thx all for the very kind words!!! I truly appreciate them.

mcnab I work RMG just like VM...apply then buff until it almost translucent so speed and light pressure are key. I find that using products with the PC at low speeds (unless applying an LSP) just loads the pad and does very little correction...of course your mileage may vary.

Scott (GT) I did not get to meet the owner but Mike hinted that he was a bit "eccentric". ;) This was the third Maserati (an '02; '05; '06) I have had the pleasure of taking the PC to and all the paint has been the same...soft with very, very little OP. Some of the best "factory" paint I've seen.

My last "spread" I caught some flack for no "cod piece" shot so I made sure I got one this time. :getdown

Many thanks again all. :xyxthumbs

Best. Sedan. Ever.

And they improved the stupid flappy paddle gearbox this year. :)

I'm jealous. Of the cars you detail and how well you detail them. :)
