here is the link. You can get it through body shop supply stores. Not sure on the price, but I know it is expensive stuff, but well worth it. The pictures I took are 5 months old application. In person they look super wet, but are dry. Great stuff in my opinion and the best I have ever seen as it is a real rubber coating.

is that the same stuff? i thought i read earlier in the thread that is cost $350, opposed to the link leading to a kit that costs $40. Either way it looks like a good product, but only enough for 2 cars? :ignore

Very good work. The car looks wet!

Just one observation about most click and brag pics (not just yours): Why so much over-exposure? I have been an advanced-amateur photographer for many years and haven't yet come across a camera (no matter how inexpensive) that miscalculates exposure this often. In all honesty, with exposure set this high, practically ANY detail job would look flawless (even a simple wash) and nearly every product will seem to provide identical results.

Again, my grip isn't with just thread; Ryan your work is truly amazing. But I see grossly over-exposed shots every day here and being the perfectionists that us detailing aficionados are, and considering the rightful pride we take in our work, we should do our best to showcase our work under the best light (pun unintentional) instead of hindering the great job we all do. And we don't even have to be photographers to do so. In today's digital age, anyone with a keen eye (e.g. us detailers) should know whether a pic isn't quite depicting the subject well.

Which is why I also look to see how cars in the background look. If the 20 yrold beater in the back is drippin wet too, something is up... But yeah, I know what you mean.

Super Work on the Bimmer....that black looks stunning.

I tried some Zaino for the 1st time last weekend on a Porsche Turbo...pretty good stuff. Used ZAIO then Z5 and liked how it turned out.

I used Meg's #83 for my initial polish. Tried Fusion and couldn't get it to work right...lots of pad caking and caking on the paint (prolly, cause I've never used it before)

Congrats on the car.....

Toto

Toto, how much ZPC did you use on the pad? Use very little, as in 4 small pea-sized dots. Then you will need less as the pad will become primed. Also if you have some Z6 a spritz on the pad.

You just solved my problem...I slopped that stuff on the pad like I use 3M compound. I'll remember that on my next detail which is a black AMG Mercedes in a couple of weeks.

Thanks.... I probably wasted more Zaino than the average person LOL

No problem at all Toto.

Did you apply the ZAIO by machine or hand?

My camera is just a cheap kodak and the pictures sometimes do be blurred or sometimes over exposed. The car in person looks better than the pics. I need to get a good editing software and I really need a good camera too. I know being a perfectionist as I am, I am shocked I have not bought a good cam yet, but my bills and family come first before toys.:sadwavey:

Like Bryan said, use very little and prime the pad with z6 even at a lower rpm. I have been using this lately and has been working great.

Funny I tried 3m polishes the other day (for memories sake) since a very long time and I forgot how much you need:grinno: I am use to zpc or menzerna now where you need just drops.

Great work on the BMW's you have done lately too!!!!

not sure what it is exactly called, but it cost $350 for a half gallon and looks super wet in person. I was very amazed at the tires.

Sry to tell ya bud, but my $5 bottle of Armor-All Tire Gel looks just as good as that does.

I know the company just started selling the kit for consumer use in a smaller kit from what I have been told. When I was told the price before it was by half gallon. I know the consumer kit is a lot cheaper, but not sure how much. I have to call on prices.

This is for people who want to do it once and be done with it for 6 months to a year. But once it is on, there is no taking it off. It is permanent!
