Got the call again to do the yearly detailing of purduephigam's 05 WRX. I did his car last year in June.

The car wasn't in that bad of shape considering it's parked outside all the time.

Process:

Wash with ONR

Clay with Meguiar's claybar & ONR for lube

Wiped down with ONR lube

A few spots were buffed out with the DACP/Red Meguiar's Cutting pad

Menzerna Final Polish II with a white pad

Sealed witn Meguiar's Ultimate Wax

Glass cleaned with Stoners Invisible Glass

Glass sealed with Meguiar's NXT

Wheels cleaned with Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner (5:1)

Wiped down with ONR Lube

Tires cleaned with Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner (5:1)

Tires Dressed with Meguiar's Hyper Dressing (3:1)

Engine bay cleaned with Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner (5:1)

Exhaust cleaned with #0000 Steele Wool and Generic Glass Cleaner

Exhaust polished with Mothers Metal Polish

It had started to rain when I was done, so we didn't pull the car out to snap pics outside, so here are some in the garage done pics:

When I got there, I noticed that his brother's Mazdaspeed3 was filthy and in need of a good cleaning, so I offered my services to them. After the WRX was ONR Washed, I went to wash the Mazdaspeed3. Since it was filthy, ONR would not cut it.

Wash was with Gilmour 75QGFMR foaming gun with Rain-X Foaming Wash

Hi-Temp Wheel Cleaner used on the wheels/tires

Tires Dressed with Meguiar's Hyper Dressing (3:1)

Exhaust cleaned with #0000 Steele Wool and Generic Glass Cleaner (x3)

I regularly clay my glass which makes a world of difference. I don't like the idea of adding a wax or coating that can wear off or smear, though.

Nice cars!! Look great.

Oh, I did clay the glass before I waxed it.

Honestly, since the Ultimate Wax came out, that's going to be my LSP/Sealant of choice and I've got a nearly full can of NXT Paste Wax, so using it on glass will be a good way to use it up. I normally use Liquid, but last fall when I needed some more NXT I couldn't find NXT Liquid wax ANYWHERE.
