05 CLK FMJ and dual 05 CLS 350 detail

Magnificient cars :2thumbs:



It's a little tease for me as I will be working on my Mom's new black CLK cabrio which is presently over the Atlantic and ought to be here in about 3 weeks.



I'm going to remove part but maybe all of the Rapgard right there at the dealer so they can confirm there is no body damage. If I need to polish I had Menzerna in mind as well. I also have Cerrious Polish on order so I have access to all of the more readily available polishes for Ceramiclear paint.

I've done some work with car being shipped from overseas. Sometimes i found lots of contaminents by the bottom panels of the car. Watch out for them. You may need to use lots of clay.

very nice cars. i'm suprised that the dealer didn't ask you to take care of the bad orange peel on that black beauty...especially for what they sell those whips for! (OP is very noticable on the photos.)

Unfortunetly i don't. Soon I'll probably be doing a brand new Carrera Black. Maybe at the end of the week i'll pose some pics.

I didnt care for the CLS' at first either but they've grown on me. I think thats the test of a great design, it needs to grow on you and it becomes a classic forever. In a time when MB's styling has grown mainstream and bland I think its a great addition.



Like one of the car mags said "Everyone says that theres no accounting for taste, but the people that think the CLS is ugly are just plain wrong". I'd buy one if it weren't for the 4 place seating, I think it looks much more expensive than it is. Thats a new trait for Mercedes who'se cars usually are more expensive than they look.
