I would hope to believe that it's due to a bad factory paint job but that seems really odd on such a new car.

Not entirely out of the question. I deal with a lot of late model Ford pickups and the amount of times I have found areas of paint failure (most likely due to poor factory paint) is shocking to say the least. It tends to be most prominent on black & gray for whatever reason which leads me to believe it may be a flaw that is only really magnified by excessive heat... but its all speculation.

Either way your car looks awesome now and hopefully you'll get a new one with flawless paint soon. :getdown

what do u mean getting used to the weight? If I remember correctly the metabo is a lil more than 1lb less than the makita or is it more? It makes that big of a difference? I personally like holding the head of the machine better, so you're actually pushing me towards it even more now lol.

I like the Metabo for the weight but I'm still working on the comfort level as I'm not used to holding the head of a machine. I've been using rotaries for 11+ years and either had a side or bail style handle with flexibility in how I hold the machine. At this point I still prefer the bail handle and find myself reaching for my Hitachi many times.

I said I like it for the weight but have to get used to holding it as that is uncomfortable to me. I do like being able to move my "rear" hand around though. Also to answer your question, YES the lower weight makes a difference. I'm a lot less fatigued at the end of a polishing session.:)

Looks great! I may have to investigate this Ultima line....:grinno: :p ;)

Yeah, you might want to try it rather than just bash the crap out of it like some are that haven't even looked at it up close.

I almost clicked the "report" button by mistake.;) I've had it now for more than a month and this is my first mention of it.

Tronix, thanks! I've seen that *crazy* beading on my own car and it's phenomenal!

SpoiledMan, does the interior cleaner give any sort of a shiny look? I absolutely *hate* shiny dashboards, etc. I like the clean, matte look. If this stuff doesn't shine, I'm in for a bottle.

SuperBee, I think you'll be happy with the interior products as the shampoo does a very good job of cleaning even the 10W30 that was applied prior and the sealant is you almost can't tell it's on there glossy. It ads *very* little to the OEM gloss level.

UPDATE: I spoke to the owner of this car late last week and he told me that the PGP is holding up well. He also said that Acura *IS* covering the paint failure on the front of the car.

Hey nice job man! Where in so-cal are you located? Those brick-fences look very similar to the ones in my area lol.
