04 Subaru WRX STI - polish suggestions

The old man has just picked up his new WRC Blue colored STI WRX and I will be in charge of detailing it.



My plan in a week or two, (can't do it yet as we're off on interstate trip to race his 1971 MGB in a few days) is check for fallout and acid wash it if neccessary, if not then water wash, followed by a coat Of Omikron Bodyseal paint sealant which is my favourite sealant and blows all the others I have used and got away. have to give the sealant six - twenty four hours to cure.

I can then either wax which according to Magnum Top Gear is old technology and not needed over a sealant although I wax anyway as it does provide that extra protective layer or apply three coats of Klasse SG then wax



I have successfully applied Menzerna IP, FP then AIO and three coats of SG to a car but I'm wondering if klasse SG is OK to be applied over the top of a cross linked polymer and flourinated hydrocarbon sealant :nixweiss

If Omikron Bodyseal paint sealant is that good why would you need to put Klasse over it? Why not 3 layers of Omikon then wax .. what wax are you thinking of?

I'll probably go 3M synthetic then follow a week later with P21 s carnuba. You don't layer bodyseal, it's a one coat only product
