04 Saleen prepped for a show - and it won!!!

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Thank you Dave for allowing me to come over and learn. Thank you Mike for the kind words and the privelage of working on such a great car. The best thing about these forums is when you meet people like dave, allowing someone that is learning to come out and spend time with them, show them how they do things and even ask for my input. It has been a great privelage to team up with Dave, once again Thanks
 
Nice ride, love the center exhaust! The setup on my buddys S281 is so similar its almost rediculous. He also has a Kenne Bell Blower, among several other things.Heres the one I show prep every weekend:

Its acutually an 02. He's got tons of options, 10" RW, recaros, and tons more. I think hes putting down about 470 RWHP.

Gotcha,

If he is pushing 470 to the ground then he hopefully has had the bottom end rebuilt. Anything over 400 is pushing the limits of the stock hyperutetic pistons and rods. Thats one of the main reasons I have not upped my boost yet.

David will probably say different, but he is a complete perfectionist. He could have let the car leave earlier in the day with some things looking ...ok , but he continued critiquing his own work and going over areas until the paint looked like you could swim in it.

What kind of mods have you done? Obviously the KB., but what else? Just curious about the 385hp on a 2v. LMK.

#105 and a Powerball, eh? Going to steal that idea, exhaust looks amazing!
