Chris can i come work for you? Better yet wanna marry me lol haha

That is some serious talent man and you look so young.

Looks like your use of 106FF wants to make me buy it more. Congrats man and a well earned vacation. Car looks incredible, always loved Ferrari interior

Oh dont worry all you need is a PTG and laptop and your Paul Daulton of the US haha

Great job as always. I'm just happy to hear that we have one in our area! Although you say it's not perfect, it looks 1000000x better. That red just pops out in the sun and under the lights.

Next time this customer needs a detail from you, I'll drive you there, or carry your tools, or anything just to see that work of art! :lol :D

:spit: Holy cow!

Amazing work as always Chris! :wow:

:bow :bow :bow :bow :bow

Your click and Brag posts always impress! Keep it up.

STUNNING!!!! I would love to hear more about those angled adapters and extensions and such for your rotory. All I have is 8inch pads.. I could NEVER do that car!

UNBELIEVALBE JOB!!!!!!

lecchilo - When I first started using the Makita I was using a handle then I tried it without any handle and for *myself* personally I use it without any handle because I feel I have more control over the buffer. The right angle drill is a Ryobi. It works fine for what I need it. Little more hard to control then the makita and takes just a tad bit longer to work polish correctly since the max speed is 1100 rpms. You do have to have to be more careful with it.

maesal - the blue finesse pad is 6.5 LC/Wolfgang brand. I get them from autogeek or some other vendors online.

Salty - Almost all Ferrari transmission these days are the F1 transmission. The paddles to shift are right behind the steering wheel.

bluej511 - yes I will marry you :) lol jk Well I have the laptop but 2g's + for the paint gauge to read fiberglass and carbonfiber....eeek.

I will have to take pics of the right angle drill set-up and start a thread on it since there are a lot people asking about it.

Thanks for all the compliments. It truly was a blessing to work on such a car. :dance

Nice work; condition wasn't too bad but you made it almost perfect. Beautiful car and detail. I think I saw a TR in a reflection. :)

Hope to work on one of these next month, crossing fingers.

Thanks, I would like to say the swirls didnt show up on my camera very well, I think I accidentally had the Saturation set on high when I took the before and after work.

The paint was actually a serious PITA. Most of my steps had to be repeated when polishing. Also be prepared that the paint wont be top notch. This one I found a run in the paint and the quarter had some sanding marks along with heavier orange peel. Also be ready to meet some buffer swirls that may not come out since they buffed the paint right after it was painted from the factory. I also found running the rpms higher yielded better results then lower rpms but we all know what happens with high rpms if not careful! :waxing: :shocked

I don't think I could work on the types of cars you work on without driving them, it would drive me bananas.

Great job as always.

wow dreams do come true.

you did it, great job! So was the paint hard or better this time? wow and drove it too. I would ask, Can i gun it! lol

I don't often post on Autopia, I guess I'm a bit of a lurker but that car looks amazing and i felt I had to say something.

Awesome work. Just perfect.

Wow man great detail. I would be honored just to see one of those in real life and you got to DETAIL one. There is not much left to say but Holy Crap.
