Well Ladies and Gents, I finally came around to get my mother's, father's car detailed by myself over the course of the past few weeks and got some pics to share. Sorry but I dont know how to post into a thread and cant decide which pics to post anyway. So you can view the pics on the Autopia Gallery under 01BlueCLS.

The following is a description of what was used on what car.



Applied Everything except P21S with PC (including the Zaino), I used the Yellow, orange, white and gray pads in conjuction with its proper polish, wax sealant etc. All MF's were used, no terry cloths what so ever.



1. 2004 Acura TL Desert Mist Champagne (Fathers)

Mother's Clay Bar, and a total of 8 coats of

Zaino Z5 and Z2 over the past 2 months. Pads used: Grey



2. 2000 Infiniti I30 Dark Forest Green (Mothers)

Claybar, 1Z UPP, Menzerna FP, Klasse AIO,

and 2 coats of P21S. Pads used: Orange, White, Gray



3. 2001 Acura CL-S Aegean Blue (Mine)

Mothers Claybar, Poorboys SSR2.5 Menzerna IP,

Menzerna FP, Klasse AIO, 5 Coats of Z5 and

2 coats Z2, P21S x1 Pads Used: Yellow, orange, white, gray.



Keep in mind that all of this was done within the past two months, and the pics taken were fairly recent, within a few weeks. Also keep in mind that my car is outside 24/7 365. But my parents cars of course stays in the garage.

All three I wash every 5-7 days with Zaino wash and sometimes NXT wash. All three Qd's after a wash with Z6 Enhancer, and Eagle Wipe and Shine. Very happy with the results of the products i have used.

SK2003TypeS - I love your TL, that is the car i wanted before I got the CL. I love my two doors, but i love the Front end of the TL even more not to mention the fact that the Tl lip kit would be awesome to have. By the way, nice color choice!! :xyxthumbs



The only thing i hate about my CL besides the fact that it has to be outside 24/7 are the swirls seem to come back every month or so. THe color is like black in the sense of visible swirls. Maybe I need to re-visit my washing techniques approach a little better.



Yea, the pics of my CL were taken on a cloudy/sunny day, i love the reflections it gave off.

I like the pics on page 2 where the sun shines on parts of the car making it look like the paint changes color.



I think the next Wax i want to try is Pinnacle Souve (if i can see my self spending 60 bucks on the wax for next spring. And i want to try Natty's. THe P21S is really amazing stuff and easy to use, but of course being autopian i must try different things ;)
 
01bluecls, Thanks :) It was a tough decision to go with the TL. I just like the lines a little better. Also, this is my first 4 door car, so it was a little weird at first, but it's really nice to have people being able to get in without having me move....hehe.



Ya gotta love the color. And whether it's been Zaino or NXT or whatever, it really pops.



Currently mine is outside 24/7 as well. The past 2 winters I've had the luxury of my neighboors garage. And hopefully by this winter, if all goes well, I'll have my own. :D



I can't get myself to pick up Pinnacle's Souveran yet, but I know I'll eventually buy it. Just keep an eye on the vendor's deals, and you can pick it up for under $50 sometimes.
