Hey guys, thanks for the kind words of the car. She is my daily driver in the nice months, and its been a fantastic car to build and enjoy so far.
The hood very well maybe a slightly different shade...I have found Silverstone is not the easiest color to match (3 variations from Nissan) and even with scannining the gas cover, it was a tough go. That and the rock chips on the nose (I am sort of anti clearbra due to the lines i leaves) are why I want to repaint the nose soon.
As for the mods, Jon got one other thing wrong...the clutch is an OS Giken single disk with integrated flywheel
Yeah the car is super low.....but I still have a bit more to drop it if I wanted. For me, the setup is the perfect blend of comfort and looks.....As Jon said there is plenty of suspenion travel and since these are dual height adjustable units, you can lower without preloading the springs
Pat - I have planned to go to an ECZA meet at some point but something always comes up....will you guys be at the meet in Cape Cod?
NavindraLR - yep, at Tobay (and then Oak Beach and then Captree lol....the cops kept forcing us to move east). The Works have been terrific...at home on the track and the street. Believe it or not I have routinely driven the car in NYC without incident. The Volks are also a very strong wheel, just depends which you go with.
The combo we used worked terrifically....I almost cannot even imagine it coming out better, but maybe we'll play with some different stuff next month. Without a doubt, the best thing I used was the NXT Glass Cleaner..the stuff is simply amazing, especially when applying it with microfiber
